I’ve seen other homemade DTF designs on shirts and they did not look good. These, however, are much better quality than whatever they were using. I needed to try it for myself and finally did. Hooked up my new heat press and ordered. SUPER pleased with how these worked. Adhered perfectly on several different kinds of fabrics. Their transfers are super forgiving and incredibly vibrant. I will be ordering more film from transfersplus in the very near future.

Pressing Instructions
These are the instructions for Cotton. Please download the full instructions for all types of garment blends
Step 1: Load your garment onto the press – make sure no seams, hems, or zippers are in the pressing area.
If there are any raised areas such as seams please use a pressing pillow.
Pre-press for 5 seconds to eliminate any moisture and to lay the fibers in the garment flat.
Step 2: Place your transfer on the garment, press for 7-10 seconds. Peel immediately while transfer is still hot.
If you have fine detail, please allow the transfer to cool a bit then peel with a low sweeping movement.
Step 3: Post-press for 10 seconds with the finish of your choice. Matte – use parchment paper / Gloss – use a teflon sheet
DTF Transfers, an abbreviation for Direct to Film Transfers, represent an innovative method of Heat Transfer any image onto various materials or colors, eliminating concerns about intricate printing specifications that were once a hassle.
Each heat transfer is uniformly printed using the same underlying layer. While there might be specific exceptions, the overall process remains consistent across all materials. This consistency offers reassurance that every heat transfer will adhere and present as intended, ensuring uniformity across orders.
With DTF transfers, there are no limitations on color range, color quantity, or order quantity. Unlike screen printing transfers, where selecting the right ink type for specific garments was crucial and small orders with numerous colors were cost-prohibitive, DTF transfers transcend these limitations.
Gone are the days of needing an expert understanding of garment printing. DTF transfers streamline the process, enhancing the profitability and consistency of your orders.
They also have a shelf-life of 2 years+ when stored in a sealed ziplock style bag with a moisture absorbing packet.
We recommend vector art and artwork to be a minimum of 300 dpi at size, meaning if you want it at 10″ or 5″. Preferred file formats include: .PNG, .SVG, .AI, .EPS. Please make sure you outline your text and please do not include a colored background.
No, Our pricing is determined exclusively by size and quantity. When creating your DTF Transfer designs, feel free to incorporate as many colors as you wish—there won’t be any change in the price. WE also do not charge for multiple images on 1 gang sheet .. FILL IT UP !!
Yes we do! TransferPLUS prints on a commercial grade printers in house. Shipped and distributed out of Melfort Saskatchewan.
Unfortunately we do have a minimum of 3 Sheets ( or 36″ of transfers ) as a low minimum order. With the cost of film, ink, hot melt, power, shipping materials and our time we have opted for this low low min. The great thing is that these 3 sheets can be different images !! Fill them up with all of your designs!
TransferPLUS does offer local pickup and we are based out of Melfort Saskatchewan. Once you have received a order pick up notification via email your DTF Transfers will be ready for pick up at your convenience. Our address is: 212 Burrows Ave East in Melfort
